1. New organ release

“Pastorale” by Peter Pindar Stearns, $7.95 [AMP-26]

This work is based on a passage from “The Spiritual Canticle” by Saint John-of-the-Cross. It works well as part of a prelude, musical meditation, or in performance.

2. New recordings posted

“Improvisation on PICARDY” by David Brinson (Organ). Recorded by the composer on the 1982 Casavant-Freres at Glenn Memorial UMC (Atlanta, GA).

“If Ye Love Me” by Nathan Jensen (Choral, AATBB). Live performance by The Compline Choir.

3. Visit us at the Calvin Symposium on Worship

We are looking forward to participating in the Calvin Symposium on Worship, which will take place on the Calvin College campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan, from January 28-30. Put on by the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, this annual event draws around 1500 attendees from over thirty countries and a wide variety of denominations. Among the impressive slate of presenters this year are composers Keith and Kristyn Getty, organist and composer David Cherwien, Fuller Theological Seminary president Richard J. Mouw, and theologian Marva Dawn.

It is a blessing for us to have such a rich resource in our hometown, and we highly encourage everyone with an interest in worship to attend. Regardless of your theological background, musical preference, or church role, you will leave refreshed and overflowing with ideas for renewing the worship of your congregation. While you're there, please stop by our booth to meet us in person, peruse our catalog, and take advantage of a special Symposium discount.

4. Other upcoming events

We are also looking forward to participating in the following upcoming events:

February 24-27: American Choral Directors Association Central Division Conference - Cincinnati, Ohio

July 4-8: American Guild of Organists National Convention - Washington, DC
